91352 February 12, 2013 Dear, Review Panel My goal as a freshman student at the State University, Northridge was to pass my English class with a good grade. My goal was to pass all of my classs of course, but especially my English class because it is a very important subject for me. Last semester I took English 114A, and I loved it. It was challenging at first, but I appreciated everything we did in the class throughout the semester. Why? Because it challenged me and made me a better writer. With every assigned essay, with every paper I write, I always write my personal point of view of the topic. Many students I know try to take the easy way out when writing an essay, but I love writing my thoughts down. I dont mind people reading what I really have in mind. This is why English 114A was difficult for me at first because trying to really argue my point across was not easy. I accepted the challenge and passed with a B, which was very satisfying. This semester was very different from the last semester, we wrote three very different essays discussing certain topics. We went over rhetoric, theme, descriptive writing and more arguments. I was stronger this semester and my writing improved and I cant wait for you all to read my writings. Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, Diana Guerrero
