Elementary/ Basic Electricity

Prepared by LAILA B. QUEJADA

Electricity, one of the basic forms of energy. Electricity is associated with electric charge, a property of certain elementary particles such as electrons and protons, two of the basic particles that make up the atoms of all ordinary matter. Electric charges can be stationary, as in static electricity, or moving, as in an electric

Electron, negatively charged particle found in an atom. Electrons, along with neutrons and protons, comprise the basic building blocks of all atoms. The electrons form the outer layer or layers of an atom, while the neutrons and protons make up the nucleus, or core, of the atom.

Electrons, neutrons, and protons are elementary particlesthat is, they are among the smallest parts of matter that scientists can isolate. The electron carries a negative electric charge of 1.602 x 10-19 coulomb and has a mass of 9.109 x 10-31

Static Electricitynakaimbak at hindi dumadaloy.

Dynamic Electricitydumadaloy dahil sa pwersang kemikal o mekanikal, kung saan ang lakas ay nasa loob.

Direct Current negative to positive ang daloy.

Alternate Current salit salit ang daloy ng kuryente.

nagpapakita ng pagdaloy ng kuryente mula sa pinanggagalingan patungo sa bagay na paggagamitan at pabalik sa pangangailangan.

Ohms Law
The relationship between current, voltage, and resistance is given by Ohms law. This law states that the amount of current passing through a conductor is directly proportional to the voltage across the conductor and inversely proportional to the resistance of the conductor.
