13th: Jump Rope

for Heart

Midland Elementary

Today, I went to Midland Elementary to volunteer to help Mr. Sponagle with Jump Rope for heart. This event is organized to help those who suffer from heart disease. Heart Disease is the number one killer in the US. I also thought it was neat how this event was sponsored by so many local places including Dominoes, McDonalds, Dairy Queen,
and many others. During my said

I't placement, Mr. Price had told me about this event and

I could come help. I wanted to take the opportunity to support this event and work

with the children. I thought this was a great learning experience. I enjoyed seeing some of
the students again. I was at this event for an hour and a halfjumping rope with the

Midland students. I am glad I took the time to go out and support this event. I thought it
was neat how

Mr. Sponagle had prizes for each of the students. The gym was set up

nicely and there were multiple rump ropes around the gym and a lot to get involved in.
The jump rope for heart is a neat event and
