What$is$my$past$experience$with$this$activity?$$
$ I have been in production for five years prior to this one. The first production I ever joined was The Wiz. The second was Mulan, the third was Annie, the fourth was Aladdin, and the one last year was Beauty and the Beast. I have always either been a part of the chorus or a minor role.

What$new$learning$or$skill$do$I$hope$to$pick$up$or$develop?$
$ This year, I want to learn how to be more flexible in my acting skills. Usually, I'm cast as the funny character. This year is a little different because I have to be both confident and serious. I hope I can expand my ability in not only fulfilling my cast's characteristics as Papa Ge but also be able to move people through the plot of the play.

How$will$this$experience$be$different$from$that$of$the$past?$
$ I am cast as a more serious character this year. Definitely, that will be very different from the other bubbly characters I was before. Also, I am one the senior members of production this year, ensuring that I have more responsibility in my team as an actress and as an example for the younger members.

How$am$I$going$to$know$if$I$am$making$progress$or$experiencing$growth$in$this$activity?$
$ Once the play is starting to get together, I'm sure it will soon be obvious that the characters are doing their part well. Of course, the feedback after the night of the play will be significant enough to show whether I did my part and that it was a success.

Goals$$What$is/are$your$goal/s$for$this$activity?$What$do$you$hope$to$achieve?$
$ My goal is to create a sense of depth and emotion in the play. Without Papa Ge, the plot would not be as moving or suspenseful as it is. With that, I also want to have a good time this year in production with my friends and all my new ones as well.

Impact$$Who$will$benefit$from$this$activity?$How?$
$ Basically, this activity will benefit the audience because the play really is about a story that needs to be shared to the world. It's a story with a lesson for many people and it deserves to be heard.
