Present Continuous tense

Form:

Affirmative: Subject+ Verb + Main + Complement(s) To Be Verb-ING Negative: Subject+ Verb+ Not+ Main + Complement(s) To Be Verb-ING Question: Verb + Subject + Main + Complement(s) To Be Verb-ING

Use:
1. To talk about activities happening now:
They are talking now.

2. To talk about activities happening around now, and not necessarily this very moment.
We aren't working hard these days.

3. To talk about arrangements in near future: I am seeing my dentist on Wednesday. 4. With words such as "always" or "constantly" to express the idea that something irritating or shocking often happens:
She is always coming to class late.

She is doing her homework. She is not doing her homework. Is she doing her homework?
