Edison Middle School, Champaign, IL Spring 2012 33 hours of observation in a multicultural classroom that included the co-teaching of three differentiated lessons with a fellow pre-service teacher and regular discussion with cooperating teacher. Central High School, Champaign, IL Fall 2012 30 hours of observation and participation in a multicultural classroom that included the teaching of two separate lessons and the observation and participation of teacher planning and meetings. Central High School, Champaign, IL Spring 2013 Participated in University of Illinois student teaching pilot program that involves the placement of seven social studies pre-service teachers in the same department to allow exposure to multiple classrooms and subjects with increased team teaching and planning.
