mate Action. The discussion will be on the challenges of climate
change in southern Arizona and the community’s values, per-

Block Party

Campus Sustainability Walking Tours


Explore the sustainability features of the UA campus by taking a self
guided tour. Maps will be available at the Earth Day Block Party.

The University of Arizona’s Institute of the Environment will convene more than 35 faculty to present results
of their latest cutting-edge environmental research at the summit.

UA President Robert Shelton and Provost and Executive Vice President Meredith Hay will give an overall
perspective on UA environmental research, and each scientist will speak briefly about the results of a
recent environmental research project.
