Reflections:
Overall, the lesson went very smoothly. The Kids seemed to enjoy the whole thing, especially researching on the iPads and making the posters. One thing I would have changed was to shorten the amount of time spent on the quickwrite, we spent about 15 minutes when it should have only been about 10 to allow them a bit more time for research. Ms. Klein seemed please and she used this lesson for her other classes as well. My favorite part besides seeing the finished posters, was the lecture I did on Hoovervilles. It went smoothly and the kids actively participated in it by asking questions. I cant wait until I get another opportunity to teach again!
