In 2010 when stand-out student athlete Chelsea King went missing, the community rallied to support and search for one of their own, with RB Community Park as Search Central. When Chelsea never returned home, the park was filled with tragic memories but now, as the featured site for Home Run for Chelsea, it serves a symbol of hope and a testament to the power of an engaged community. Started as a grass-roots outpouring of support for Chelseas Light, this one day baseball tournament held at 8 locations in San Diego has grown into a unique, funfilled charitable event that celebrates a common love for baseball and a shared commitment to create positive changes in our neighborhoods. .
