    May 16, 2013 To enhance public safety at the Colfax Marathon, law enforcement strongly requests that there be nobackpacks, large purses, briefcases, diaper bags, camera bags, shopping bags, coolers, unattended strollers or other opaque packages along the marathon route. Unless these items are essential for your health, please do not carry them within one block of the marathon route. Persons carrying containers may be contacted by police and any containers may be subject to search.
