ENGLISH FOR MEDICAL

Course Outline: Our Medical English courses are for doctors, nurses, pharmacists, psychologist, physiotherapists, midwives, other medical professionals, and medical students in the clinical phase of their studies. Our courses can include the topics such as how to communicate with patients and medical colleagues in English, presentations, reading medical journals and articles, etc. MEETINGS TOPICS 1-2 -Interviewing a patient Greeting and Self-introduction Asking about symptom Taking a history/record Grammar focus: WH questions, modals Vocabulary: parts of body and kinds of disease ACTIVITIES -Role-play: Practicing dialogues (one acts as a doctor and another acts as a patient) -Matching pictures: Parts of body, kinds of disease
