Evaluation on own sheet and presentation: When The Saints Go Marching In. Changes: I didnt make many changes to the layout of the sheet but I did make use of the text box feature on word and shift things so the activities are closer to the headings. After the presentation I realised that the piece is better suited to 2/2 rather than 4/4. When changing the time signature I also realised that the word marching should be set our as mar-ching as opposed to march-ing, so I also adjusted this. I also decided the piece looked better in colour and therefore presented my final copy in colour. Summary of presentation: I was pretty happy with my presentation; I thought my sheet was simple enough that everyone could confidently be involved and play each part. I thought the activities followed a good sequential order and there was lots of scope to expand the activities to make them more complicated if necessary. I think my sheet would be well suited to a year eight class.
