The demand of the Lokpal bill to be introduced in govt. of India is one of the most focused and highlighted news cast in present time. The recent scams one after another starting from commonwealth game to 2G spectrum has manifested the thought process of intelectual mass across the nation. However the recent more the recent move taken by the Gandhian and socialist Anna Hazare pushed back the UPA government to back foot.

What is Lokpal bill? It will be like a centralized ombudsmen cell which will bring all sectors irrespective of all hierarchy and delegacy into a common loop. Lokpal will be a nominated autonomous body who will not only initiate an enquiry commission but also have the power to sentence the convict with in stipulated time frame. It need not require any recommendation on the speaker of any house to initiate an enquiry. It will be a transparent way which is free from any political, beaurocratic or civil body to make decision. It will be a common platform for all citizen of India to put their dissonance to any level. Further the body will percolate down to the state level supported by state Lokpal. POINT OF DISCUSSION: Why there is delay in introducing the bill into the floor? Will it bring transparency in system? How the common man will get benefit out of this bill? What more changes the bill require?
