How To Make Biopori

Biopori is a small tunnel (or pore) in the ground made by living things, such as soil organism and root of the trees. These tunnels have large number of stalks and very effective to circulate water and oxygen into and within the soil. The size and number of biopori will continue to increase as the growth of the tree root as well as the population and activity of the soil organism. Making biopori isnt complicated as it seems. Lets see ! Tools and Materials : Steps : 1. 2. 3. 4. Make a hole as deep as 80 cm in diameter 10 cm, the maximum hole depth is 100 cm. To make it more safely , make a cement frames with 2-3 cm thickness. Fill the hole with organics wastes and decomposer organisms . Biopori is ready to use Shovel Cement Organics wastes Decomposer organisms (worms)

For Your Information : 1. The maximum hole depth is 100cm. If the depth is more than 100 cm, the worms and other decomposing organisms will be deprived of oxygen, so it can not work with the maximum. 2. You could make compose by clean the hole after summer . 3. The sum of biopori must counted based on rain intensity, speed of water absorbance, and areas that didnt absorbs water with formula : rain intensity (mm/hour) x speed of water absorbance/hole (liter/hour)
