Note (1): Remember ALTNT LAW always becomes DIRECT LAW at landing: for a very simple reason: ALTNT LAW has AUTO TRIM (which must be OFF for landing for safety reasons). The only way is to switch to DIRECT LAW. FOR THIS REASON all I said about ALTNT LAW is fully applicable to DIRECT LAW: in some failures (DSC 27-20-20 P 1/8) the system will revert directly to DIRECT LAW (same table at PRO-ABN-27 PAGE 47/52 not as complete anyway).
