On May 12-13, 2009, Diversity Alliance for Science, Inc., a non-profit organization created to
develop, support, and mentor diverse woman-, minority-, veteran-, and disabled-owned life sciences
businesses, will host its second annual networking conference and EXPO event. The two-day event,
“Diversity Will Drive our Scientific Future,” will be held at the Newark Liberty International
Airport Marriott in Newark, N.J. and will feature senior government officials, former NBA star
Earvin “Magic” Johnson, top-level pharmaceutical executives, and CEOs of diverse scientific and
clinical enterprises.
