    OF THEGITYCOUNCILOF THECITYOF PELICANBAY AUTHORIZING
    THESUBMISSIONOF A COMMUNITY
    LOANFUNDAPPLICATION TO THE COMMUNITY
    RESOURCESGROUP,lNC.;AND AUTHORIZINGTHE MAYORTO AcT AS THE CITY'S
    EXECUTIVEOFFIGER AND AUTHORIZEDREPRESENTATIVE IN ALL MATTERS
    PERTAINING
    TO THE GITY'SPARTICIPATION
    IN THE COMMUNITYDEVELOPMENT
    PROGRAM.

    Whereas,the CityCouncilof the Cityof PelicanBaydesiresto developa viablecommunity,


    including
    decenthousing,a suitablelivingenvironment, principally
    and expandingeconomicopportunities, for
    personsof lowto moderateincome;and

    Whereas,certainconditions a threatto the publichealth,safety,or


    existin the Citywhichrepresent
    welfare;and

    Whereas,it is necessary
    and in the bestinterests
    of the Cityof PelicanBayto applyfor fundingto the
    Community LoanFund.

    NOWTHEREFORE
    BE IT RESOLVED
    BY THECITYCOUNCILOF THECITYOF PELIGANBAY:

    1. That a CommunityLoan Fund application to the CommunityResourcesGroup,Inc. is


    herebyauthorized
    to be filedon behalfof the City.

    2. That the applicationbe for loan funds to carry out activitiesrelated to water system
    improvements.

    3. Thatthe CityCouncildirectsanddesignates the Mayoras the City'sChiefExecutiveOfficerand


    AuthorizedRepresentativeto act in all mattersin connections
    withthisapplication
    andthe City's
    participation
    in the program.

    RESOLVEDthis day the 1sthday of June, 2004.
