Software Setup for Windows 2000, XP, and Vista To install the software for the USB Adapter, follow the instructions below: Note: The installation process for Windows XP or Windows Vista may look slightly different from Windows 2000. These instructions are based off a Windows XP computer. Note: Do not insert the USB Adapter into the USB port prior to software installation. 1. Insert the software installation CD-ROM into the PCs CD-ROM drive. 2. Select install software from the menu to begin installation. 3. The Software InstallShield Wizard window appears. Click on Next to begin the installation process.
4. Choose I accept the terms in the license agreement to accept the license agreement. Click on Next to continue.

5. Specify the location where the software files will be installed on your hard drive. It is recommended that you install the software in the default directory C:\Program Files\ WIDCOMM\Bluetooth Software\. Click on Next to continue.
6. Confirm that the device software is ready to be installed and click on Install.
7. The InstallShield Wizard will begin to install the Belkin Bluetooth Software. This may take up to five minutes, please wait.

8. During the installation process, you may be prompted to insert your USB Adapter. If your USB Adapter is not plugged into your computer at this time, you may insert it into the desired USB port, and then click OK to continue.
9. Confirm the completion of the software installation and click Finish.

Bluetooth Configuration
To start using the USB Adapter with your devices enabled with Bluetooth technology, you will need to configure your Bluetooth settings and run the Bluetooth Device Selection wizard. 1. Double-click on the Bluetooth Places icon found on your desktop screen or the Bluetooth icon in the system tray.
2. The Bluetooth Configuration Wizard will appear. Click Next.
3. Specify the computer name that will be displayed to other Bluetooth devices and click Next.

4. The Initial Bluetooth Configuration Wizard will appear. Click Next.
5. Choose the Bluetooth services you would like to have available on your computer. We recommend that you leave the default settings and click Next.
Bluetooth setup is now complete. Click Next to continue and connect to your devices enabled with Bluetooth technology. Click Skip to close the Configuration Wizard.

Installation du logiciel
Installation du logiciel pour Windows 2000, XP et Vista Pour installer le logiciel de l'adaptateur USB, procdez comme suit: Remarque : L'installation sous Windows XP peut tre lgrement diffrente de celles sous Windows 2000. Ces instructions sont bases sur un ordinateur sous Windows XP. Remarque : N'insrez pas l'adaptateur USB dans le port USB avant l'installation du logiciel. 1. I nsrez le CD d'installation du logiciel dans le lecteur de CD-ROM du PC. 2. S lectionnez install software [Installer le logiciel] partir du menu pour commencer l'installation. 3. L a fentre de l'assistant d'installation du logiciel InstallShield apparat. Cliquez sur Next [Suivant] pour commencer l'installation.
4. C hoisissez l'option I accept the terms in the license agreement [J'accepte les termes du contrat de licence] pour accepter le contrat de licence. Cliquez sur Next [Suivant] pour continuer.

5. S pcifiez l'emplacement o le logiciel doit tre install sur votre disque dur. Nous recommandons l'installation du logiciel dans le rpertoire par dfaut C:\Program Files\ WIDCOMM\Bluetooth Software\. Cliquez sur Next [Suivant] pour continuer.
6. C onfirmez que le logiciel du priphrique est prt tre install, puis cliquez sur Install [Installer].
7. L 'assistant d'installation InstallShield dbutera l'installation du logiciel Bluetooth de Belkin. Cela peut prendre jusqu' cinq minutes. Veuillez patienter.

D ubbelklik op het pictogram "Bluetooth Places" (Bluetooth Plaatsen) op uw bureaublad of op het Bluetooth-pictogram in de systeembalk.
2. D e Bluetooth-configuratiewizard zal verschijnen. Klik op Next" (Volgende).
3. G eef aan welke naam het apparaat moet krijgen. Deze naam is de naam die zichtbaar zal zijn voor andere Bluetooth-apparaten. Klik vervolgens op Next (Volgende).

Configurao do software para Windows 2000, XP e Vista Para instalar o software para o adaptador USB, siga as instrues em baixo: Nota: O processo de instalao para Windows XP ou Windows Vista pode parecer ligeiramente diferente do Windows 2000. Estas instrues tm como base um computador com o Windows XP.
Nota: No insira o adaptador USB na porta USB antes da instalao do software. 1. I nsira o CD-ROM de instalao do software na drive de CD-ROM do computador. 2. N o menu seleccione "instalar software" para iniciar a instalao. 3. S urge a janela do "Assistente InstallShield do Software". Faa clique sobre "Seguinte" para iniciar o processo de instalao.
4. E scolha "Aceito os termos do contrato de licena" para aceitar o contrato de licena. Faa clique sobre "Seguinte" para prosseguir.

F aa duplo clique sobre o cone Meus locais Bluetooth que se encontra no ambiente de trabalho ou sobre o cone Bluetooth na bandeja do sistema.
2. S urgir o Assistente de Configurao Bluetooth. Clique em "Seguinte".
3. E specifique o nome do computador que ser disponibilizado para outros dispositivos Bluetooth e clique em "Seguinte".

Configurarea pachetului software pentru Windows 2000, XP i Vista Pentru a instala pachetul software pentru Adaptorul USB, urmai instruciunile de mai jos: Not: Este posibil ca procesul de instalare pentru Windows XP sau Windows Vista s arate diferit de cel pentru Windows 2000. Aceste instruciuni se bazeaz pe un computer pe care ruleaz Windows XP.
Not: Nu introducei Adaptorul USB n portul USB nainte de instalarea pachetului software. 1. I ntroducei CD-ul cu pachetul software de instalare n unitatea CD-ROM a computerului. 2. S electai install software (instalare software) din meniu pentru a ncepe instalarea. 3. S e afieaz fereastra Software InstallShield Wizard. Facei clic pe Next (Urmtorul) pentru a ncepe procesul de instalare.
4. Alegei I accept the terms in the license agreement (Accept condiiile din acest acord de licen) pentru a accepta prevederile acordului. Facei clic pe Next (Urmtorul) pentru a continua.

F acei dublu clic pe pictograma Bluetooth Places de pe spaiul de lucru sau pe pictograma Bluetooth din bara de sistem.
2. S e va afia asistentul de configurare Bluetooth. Facei clic pe Next (Urmtorul).
3. S pecificai numele computerului care va fi afiat pentru alte dispozitive Bluetooth i facei clic pe Next (Urmtorul).

Warranty Belkin International, Inc., Limited Lifetime Product Warranty What this warranty covers. Belkin International, Inc. (Belkin) warrants to the original purchaser of this Belkin product that the product shall be free of defects in design, assembly, material, or workmanship. What the period of coverage is. Belkin warrants the Belkin product for the lifetime of the product. What will we do to correct problems? Product Warranty. Belkin will repair or replace, at its option, any defective product free of charge (except for shipping charges for the product). Belkin reserves the right to discontinue any of its products without notice, and disclaims any limited warranty to repair or replace any such discontinued products.
