Area of circles

You might not know it, but circles are one of the most useful shapes there are. They are used in different way such as building pools, round fountains, buildings, kid toys, and other things that you might see anywhere. But there is more to it that just digging a hole on the ground and filling it up with water to make a pool. When designers build something they take exact measurements of area, perimeter, circumference, volume, and height. Would you like to know how to find the area of a circle?

Steps
1. Find out what the radius is by dividing the diameter by 2. If the radius is already given to you proceed to step 2. 2. You multiply pi times radius squared and you have your answer But what happens when you dont have neither the diameter nor the radius? Another piece of information you could use is the circumference, also known as the perimeter of the circle. To find the area of the circle using the circumference follow along. 1. Remember that the formula for the circumference is 2 pi r.
