    PRE BUNKER OPERATION 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 19 20 21 22 23 Suitable safe access to and from barge or quay provided Bunker Training Session held (Bunker checklist 5). Bunker Plan prepared. (VT104) Required trim agreed with Chief Officer. Manually dip tanks for ROB. Oil Procedure Notices ( including pipe diagram ) posted at fuelling station. Flag Bravo or Red Light displayed. Scuppers plugged Drip tray in place and plugged. Oil spill dispersant / equipment checked and in place. Fire fighting equipment in place. No Smoking signs displayed. Unused manifolds shut and blanked. Venting system in operation. E/R sounding cocks closed. Barge fenders fitted as required. Pre-Transfer Conference held (Bunker checklist 4) Moorings checked and secure. Hose connection checked - fully bolted and tight. Sound bunker barge tanks / check flowmeter. Bunker station watchkeeper posted. Check valve line up (2 sets of initials required) SI Manual 20.7 Open Manifold valve Give permission to commence pumping.
