Dear Mr. Brock and Mr. Perry: As an emerging Province in the global Anglican Communion, the Anglican Church in North America is pleased to support the Boy Scouts of America. In association with our 900+ congregations, the Anglican Scouting North America program (http://www.anglican-scouting.org) supports numerous scouting units throughout the United States and Canada. As a new entity, the program projects exponential growth of these units throughout the next few years. In consideration of the proposed membership policy change allowing sponsors of scouting units to determine their own membership guidelines with regard to sexual orientation, please know that the policy of the Anglican Church in North America does not support homosexual activity.
