WISE UP DISTANCE TRAINING PROGRAM DAY 0: SKYPE SESSION

Date/Time: Previously informed via email Duration: 30 minutes each candidate Parts: The Skype session is a collection of the following five moments: 1. Candidates Professional Background: Trainer talks to trainee about his professional background, previous knowledge of the school, job description, and expectations. 2. Training Program: Trainer sends the detailed program file to trainee containing a schedule of the activities, website login information and arrangement of the groups; trainer solves whatever doubts there might be. 3. Technological Tools: Trainer presents the three technological tools used during the training program: the website, the Ometz TV, and Skype. 3.1 Website: videos, texts, exercises, comments, and doubts 3.2 Ometz TV: live contact with the trainer and videos 3.3 Skype: pair work, group work, and trainers feedback to trainees 4. Expected Posture of Trainee During Program: punctuality, sense of commitment, seriousness, dedication, and interactivity (trainees are to post comments and doubts) 5. Evaluation System: The candidate will be assessed through observation of a number of distinct features such as posture, posted comments and doubts, exercises, class preparation, and tests (to be taken on third week).
