Executive Summary The Ways Chief Executive Officers lead The CEOs job is infinite.

They are responsible for every decision and action was made. Generally, there are five CEOs approaches to leadership (based on research). These approaches mean style of management, not the personal style. These five leadership approach are: 1. The Strategic Approach. They believe that the most important job is to create, test, and design the implementation of long term strategy. They analyze the current business situation, make strategic decision, and determine the market position in the future. 2. The Human-Assets Approach. They make sure that every person in the company has the same values and objectives with the companys vision. They also set the systems, programs, and policies to develop individuals to act intelligently, swiftly, and appropriately in company way without direct or constant supervisor. 3. The Expertise Approach. Focusing on organizations competencies area. They believe that their main role is to select, cultivate, and spread a competitive expertise up, down, and across the business units of organization. 4. The Box Approach. They run the companies by a set of box, to maintain acceptable behaviors, outcomes, and results. Most prevalent in industries that demand strict procedural and financial controls. 5. The Change Approach. Focusing not on where their organizations will end up, but on how they will get there. They build the organizations that responsive in change, and become the champion on it. CEOs do play a relevant role in business. They are responsible to create a clear purpose and direction for an organization. They also build organizational programs and commitment to reach the goals.
