Poster Contest

1st - 3rd Grades 4th-6th Grades 7th-9th Grades 10th-12th Grades

Create a poster that represents what the idea of exposing mental health stigma means to you. When creating your poster, think about what this idea looks like to you personally, what it means for the Saginaw community and what our world would look like without any stigma attached to mental health care and well being.

What is stigma?
Stigma is when someone judges another person based on a personal trait. It may be obvious and direct, such as a negative comment about a mental health diagnosis or treatment. Or it may be subtle, such as assuming someone could be unstable, violent or dangerous because they have a mental health condition.

Prizes:
1st Place - $75 Gift Card 2nd Place - $50 Gift Card 3rd Place - $25 Gift Card
A panel of Saginaw MAX System of Care partners will judge poster entries. Prize recipients will be notified by Saginaw MAX of their award.
