I am currently a Graduate student at SUNY Plattsburgh. I just finished my undergraduate work in mathematics.

In High School, I ran cross country, played basketball and ran track. In college, I ran cross country and track. During my sophomore and junior year of college, as a team we went to cross country nationals. I earned second team all-SUNYAC in cross country and indoor track, in the 5,000 meter run, during my senior year of college. I also earned first team all-SUNYAC in outdoor track for the 3,000 meter steeplechase. I also made the all-regional team, by placing 3rd at the ECAC championship race. I have also earned academic all-SUNYAC and commissioners list on several occasions throughout my running career. I also really enjoy hiking, camping and any outdoor activities. My favorite seasons are the fall and early winter months. I love all the different colors during the fall, and in the early winter months, I always get to see my family, who are very important people in my life. I enjoy being with my friends and family during my free time. Also during my free time, I enjoy doing puzzles, taking pictures and playing games. I began to really enjoy mathematics and really understand why we do everything in mathematics, during my senior year of high school, when I was taking calculus. My teacher made learning fun and very relatable. That is my goal as a teacher, to make mathematics relatable and fun to all of my students. I want my students to have as strong of a passion for mathematics as I do.
