PROCEDURE FOR ISSUING ANTYODAYA CARDS
The poorest families, (to the tune of 15.3%) are to be identified under Antyodaya scheme from B.P.L. Antyodaya cards are issued to such B.P.L. families, who have the income less than Rs. 250/- per capita per month. Green colored ration cards are issued under this scheme Senior Citizens without societal support or regular means of subsistence, widows and families headed by widows, terminally ill and handicapped are issued Antyodaya Cards even if they do not have any Above Poverty Line or Below Poverty Line Card. The applicant should not be in possession of a coloured television , refrigerator and scooter etc.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ISSUE OF ANTYODAYA CARDS
1. Antyodaya cards are issued to such B.P.L. families, who have the income less than Rs. 250/- per capita per month 2. Senior Citizens without societal support or regular means of subsistence, widows and families headed by widows, terminally ill and handicapped are issued Antyodaya Cards even if they do not have any Above Poverty Line or Below Poverty Line Card The applicant should not be in possession of a coloured television , refrigerator and scooter etc. the card is issued on the production of application form duly attested by the Councillor in case of urban area and Sarpanch in case of rural areas., two passport size group family photographs and an affidavit duly specified .
