REQUEST FOR ENLISTMENT OF CONSUMERS ASSOCIATION OF PAKISTAN

Dear Sir,

Consumers Association of Pakistan (CAP) is formed in 2003 as NGO by volunteer

individuals with a mission “to promote the environmentally sustainable consumption concept
by protecting, enhancing and articulating the best interest of Pakistani Consumers at all levels
of Government and all sectors of society by educating and creating awareness and
environment of fair and ethical trade practice” and has established clear objectives and
strategy to proceed with this cause. CAP is a registered body and working on the principle of
no profit no loss basis.

Consumers Association of Pakistan (CAP) is working in the interest of Pakistani consumers

and some of our activities are summarized here under:

 Consumer Awareness Programme Series on bimonthly basis.

(Which includes seminars, workshops, debates, walk, distribution hand bills &
displaying banners).
 Consumer’s complaints through CAP web site.
 Consumers Redressel Activities.
 Observing World Consumers Rights Day.
 Price Control Campaign.
 Consumer’s Choice Award to educate consumers about affordable quality product.
 Consumer’s education by formulating Consumers Clubs in educational institutions.

Profile of CAP will be provided on request. It is learnt that your organization is taking
initiatives to bring consumer culture in Pakistan. In this connection we would like to enlist
CAP with your organization in a view to participate in your future relevant projects and
programmes. Our team has already developed many project concepts which may be carried
out with your support.

Look forward to be project partner for promoting consumer culture and to provide relief to
Pakistani Consumers. It is requested to take out sometime to meet with CAP’s office bearers
to discuss the future line of action.
