    Pyramidal building has been known since 2000 years ago, in the form of tombs and temples that have been built in ancient Egypt and in other places all over the world. Recently, pyramid as building form is commonly used for buildings that require wide span. While old pyramids were solid, recent pyramids provide large spaces inside them. Extension of Louvre Museum in Paris is a popular example of the use of steel structure to form a pyramid. Key words: Pyramidal building
