Naming Ceremony Project I have observed carefully and silently, watching almost every little detail of my person.

My person is Sai. I know her much better now. I would characterize her as a graceful, meticulous, and empathetic person. I think she is graceful because she does yoga and meditation, which are two flexible and silent activities. She also writes with neat and elegant handwriting and takes her time to write it as perfect as she can. I think she is also meticulous, because she is careful about her work and asks questions during class to make sure that she understands everything in the assignment. She always tries to make it the best of her ability. Lastly, I think she is empathetic, because she cares for animals, people and the environment. For example, she volunteers at the Eye Glass Recycle Center and adopted two seals in Europe. I think Sai has two different sides. She engages with activities that reflect her two contrasting sides. Her outgoing side is when she sings, dances, does karate and talks with people around her before classes. Her inward side is when she reads quietly, does yoga and meditation. From my observations and conversations with Sai, I decided to give her the first name, Onawa, meaning the one who is wide-awake, since Sai is wide-awake about making sure that she is clear about her assignments. Her middle name will be, Lian, meaning graceful willow because she is involved in yoga and meditation, two graceful activities. I will give her the job as a Director of a Wildlife and Environment Preservation Center, for she cares about the wild animals and natural environment.
