Character is first conceived in the mind which then affects the actions of the persons involved. (Pro 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he) Sow a though you reap an action, sow an action you reap a habit, sow a habit you reap an attitude, sow an attitude you reap a character, sow a character you reap a destiny The natural state of a man without salvation is terrible and it is even quoted in the Bible in Jer 17 v 9 and Gen 6:5 The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination and intention of all human thinking was only evil continually.

When salvation comes into a mans life; old things become past and things become new (2nd Corinthians 5 v 17) The Character becomes shapened by following Christ and the definition becomes clear in 1st John 2 v 29 and 3 v 9
