Another centre of the famed English and Foreign Language University, Hyderabad will start functioning from this year onwards. A Technical University has come into existence. Posting for 183 non teaching staff as part of a package. Text books reached the schools much earlier than the beginning of the new academic year. 528 additional batches were allotted to the higher secondary section during the academic year 2011-12. Wages of the pre primary teachers have been raised. Additional Skill Acquisition Project has been implemented in selected colleges and schools in order to make the students proficient in another subject as well.

Thunchath Ezhuthachan Malayalam University came into existence. A dream, seemed to be long distant, was realized at last.

Free uniform distribution and lunch for students of A.L.P section in government schools Prof. P.A.J Lebba commission has been instituted for the study of higher secondary education. Evening courses started in 23 polytechnic colleges. New courses have been allowed in government Arts & Science Colleges. 55 new courses have been allotted. Measures have been taken to further development of the basic infrastructure of higher secondary schools. SSLC result was published in record time. Measures have been taken to implement Prof. Jayaraj commission for the skill development of students deserving special consideration. All India Council for Technical education Zonal Office Started in Trivandrum for the development in the field of Engineering education.
