I want to get along well with others and be liked, but often I don't know where to begin. Vorrei andare daccordo con gli altri e riuscire simpatico, ma spesso non so da che parte iniziare.

Here are some tips to get you started. The point is not to pretend to be something you're not, but to cultivate qualities that will make people be happy to be around you. Ecco alcuni consigli, tanto per cominciare. Il fatto che non devi fingere di essere quello che non sei, ma di fare uno sforzo consapevole per coltivare in te le qualit che fanno sentire le persone a loro agio e contente di starti accanto.

 Be polite and courteous. He who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness, gathers love.

Be sociable. If you're shy or withdrawn, focusing on making the other person feel accepted and at ease will help you be less self-conscious.
Keep an open mind. Everyone has a right to an opinion. Few arguments are worth winning at the cost of a friendship.

Sii educato e cortese. Chi semina cortesia, miete amicizia; e chi pianta cordialit, raccoglie amore. Sii socievole. Se sei timido o introverso, cercare di mettere a suo agio laltra persona ti far sentire meno impacciato. Mantieni una mente aperta. Tutti hanno diritto alla loro opinione. Sono poche le volte in cui vale la pena vincere una discussione e perdere unamicizia.

 Smile. A sincere smile sets a positive tone. Lighten up. A person with a good sense of humor is fun to be around. Just be sure your humor doesn't come at someone else's expense.

Sorridi. Un sorriso stabilisce un tono positivo. Prendi le cose con allegria. piacevole stare vicino a persone con un buon senso dellumorismo. Basta che il divertimento non avvenga a spese di altri.

 Look for the good in others. Everyone has at least a few admirable qualities. Focus on finding those, not finding fault.

Be vocal about others' good qualities. Everyone needs to know that their good qualities are noticed and appreciated. Be generous, sincere, and specific with your compliments.

Cerca negli altri i loro punti buoni. Tutti hanno almeno alcune qualit da ammirare. Prova a trovare quelle e non le loro colpe.
Elogia le buone qualit degli altri. Tutti hanno bisogno di sapere che le loro buone qualit sono notate e apprezzate. Sii generoso, sincero e specifico nei tuoi complimenti.

 Be a good listener. One of the best ways to show people you care about them is by taking an interest in what they have to say and making an effort to understand. Be gracious when others make mistakes. Everybody messes up sometimes. Remember the Golden Rule: treat others like you want to be treated. Sii un buon ascoltatore.
