LIFE AFTER LOVE

1. INT: ROSIE’S HOUSE – EVENING

The doorbell sounds and Rosie comes to the door to find Adam has already
gone and has left her a teddy and a letter. She smiles as she reads the
letter.
Voiceover of Adam reading out the letter which Rosie is reading starts.

2. EXT: ROSIE’S STREET – NIGHT

Adam is hit by a car on his way to Rosie’s when he’s back from being away.
The car is still there with the headlights on and Adam is not moving. He
has a bunch of roses in his hand.

3. EXT: GRAVEYARD – DAY

Rosie is taking some roses to put on Adam’s grave, and is suffering great
pain from her loss.

4. INT: ROSIE’S BEDROOM – NIGHT

Rosie is looking through a box of Adam’s belongings/gifts from him. She


has clearly been crying. The voiceover ends and only the music can be
heard.

5. EXT: PEBBLE BEACH BY RIVER – DAY

A flashback of Rosie and Adam taking a picture of themselves while having


a picnic in their favourite place.

6. INT: ROSIE’S BEDROOM – NIGHT

Rosie continues to look through the box.

7. EXT: TREE STUMP BY RIVER – DAY

Rosie and Adam have a laugh re-enacting the well known titanic scene.
Another flashback.

8. INT: ROSIE’S BEDROOM – NIGHT

Still mourning and looking through old stuff.

9. INT: HALLWAY IN ROSIE’S HOUSE - EVENING


Final flashback: Adam gives Rosie a necklace as a gift, and they are
dressed up ready to attend a formal even together.

9. INT: ROSIE’S BEDROOM – NIGHT

Rosie packs everything back into the box, puts it down on her desk and
slams down a photograph of them in a frame. She then gets into bed and
goes to sleep.

BLACKOUT.
