Subject: Problem of Customers OPEN AIR MALL & CLOSED AIR MALL

Step:1 PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION


After much deliberation and discussion the group decided to study open air mall and closed air mall in pune. The problem thus identified was :Customers facing various problems in malls Place of Study : Amanora mall (Open Air mall) Central mall (Closed Air mall)

Approaching the mall as customer and experiencing the environment

Step 3: HYPOTHESIS
A large section of customers are bored and frustrated with shopping mall experience and face multiple problems.

Step 4: RESEARCH DESIGN


We divided the group into two parts; One visited Amanora in Hadapsar and other observed Central Mall in S.B.Road

After looking through the findings, we finally concluded:
80% of the genuine customers were frustrated and bored Window shopping was highly popular among teenagers Mannequin maintenance attracted several customers

Step 7: RECOMMENDATION
Malls should ensure that there are better eating and entertainment options available. Arranging the parking space and providing ample sign boards directing towards stores. Too much under one roof makes the layout confusing. Working on the range of products and environment.
