Native American Studies Faculty Academic Dean Full-time, throughout the school year DOQ
Summary: Teaches Anishinaabe and Native American culture, history, tribal government, philosophy and literature courses with an emphasis upon the Anishinaabeg and the Ojibwa Language. A full-time faculty is responsible for instruction, assessment, advising, committee work, and service to the College and Community. Other duties may include grant management, research, or specific academic endeavors. A College faculty is critical in creating, maintaining, assessing, and reflecting upon a learning environment where academic discipline is embedded within an Anishinaabe world view. Qualifications: Masters Degree in relevant field and experience teaching Native Studies required. Additional experience teaching in a higher learning education setting preferred. Current drivers license and insurance required. Individual background check required. May be required to travel for professional development and job related activities. Salary is based on qualifications.
