National Select 7on7 Championship Series June 10, 2013

Pineville, LA The Landers FIAT Air Attack 7on7 Challenge, hosted by the Louisiana College Football Program, brings the toughest High School Football teams from the state together for the National Select 7on7 Championship Series Qualifying Tournament June 14-15, 2013, at the Johnny Downs Sportsplex in Alexandria, LA. The 20 Teams participating in this event are competing for a chance to play in the National Select 7on7 Championships presented by Under Armour July 24-26, in Hoover, AL. We choose to participate in this tournament because we are able to play against outstanding competition from a variety of different programs. Bo Meeks, Airline High School Head Football Coach, says. This tournament is a great learning and growth experience for our players. We look forward to this tournament every summer. The National Select 7on7 Championship Series is the premier 7on7 in the country, bringing together top teams and athletes from around the U.S. for a chance to play against tough competition and sharpen onthe-field skills before the regular season begins. The two-day Landers FIAT Air Attack 7on7 Qualifying Tournament kicks-off Friday June, 14, with twelve teams toughing it out in pool play. The tournament bracket is created based on participating teams win percentages during Fridays games. The winner of the Air Attack Challenge will be awarded Saturday afternoon following the final game. The staff does a great job of running the tournament. It is extremely well organized and they do an outstanding job of communicating with us. Meeks says. We are very grateful for the opportunity to be able to participate in this tournament. This event is one of 13 National Select Qualifying Tournaments to be held this summer. The winner from each tournament qualifies to play in the National Select 7on7 Championships in late July. The Johnny Downs Sportsplex is a great venue for this event. Clay Matchett, Landers FIAT Air Attack Challenge Director, says It has plenty of seating and shaded areas for tournament spectators, and will offer full concessions for this weekends 7on7. We are thankful to be hosting this tournament in such a great facility Teams participating in the 2013 Air Attack Challenge are: Airline, Avoyelles, Bastrop, Benton, Buckeye, Calvary, Cedar Creek Ruston, Cenla Christian Academy, East Ascension, Ferriday, Lakeshore, Leesville, Loyola Prep, Mandeville, Norwood, O.
