Inspection (Initial) of Damaged Marine Floating Hose Tail 1 Outer Hose String
Comments recommendations Under present conditions, the hose need not be removed from service. Preliminary inspection indicates damage only in flotation and not extending into cover of secondary carcass. However requested to be verified once again. Tanker loading can be carried out using both hose strings. Due to type of hose, location in string, extent of damage (depth and length) and time in service, repair is recommended. Repairs to flotation can be accomplished at site offshore. Complete Marine hose repair kit is required to be placed on an urgent basis.
