The Obama Mandate that forces employers who oppose for religious, moral and conscience reasons to provide contraceptives and abortifacients goes into effect on August 1, 2013. This is a direct frontal assault on religious freedom. There can be no mistake about that.

The purpose of this forum is intended to: 1. Provide a status update 2. Discuss what actions can be taken to stop the mandate 3. Further develop partnerships, alliances and networks to fight back against the mandate 4. Take comments and answer questions regarding the mandate 5. Develop a plan of action and concrete follow up items to continue this fight

U.S. Congressman Joe Pitts (Pa- 16) will lead the Forum and moderate a panel discussion. Panelists include: Representatives from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Michael Geer and Randy Wenger, Pennsylvania Family Institute Anthony Hahn, CEO of Conestoga Wood Specialties Members of the US Congress Representatives from leading Pro-Life organizations After brief comments from several of the panelists, the audience will have the opportunity to offer comments and ask questions.
