March 7, 2012 Correspondence and Complaints Management Office of the Commissioner Texas Education Agency 1701 North Congress Avenue Austin, Texas 78701 Tutors with Computers, LLC (TWC LLC) files this state-level complaint regarding the La Marque Independent School District (LMISD, 084904), a Local Education Agency, after exhausting all established local procedures and complaint processes. LMISD has refused to assign students of parents requesting Supplemental Education Services (SES) from TWC as required by the No Child Left behind (NCLB) act. This complaint is made pursuant to 20 U.S.C. 9304(a)(3)(c) and the Texas Education Agency No Child Left Behind (TEA NCLB) State-Level Complaint Procedures. TWC LLC has made every effort to resolve this matter at the local level. After several months of requesting meetings and dispute resolution negotiations, the matter remains unresolved. LMISD has refused to assign students to TWC, has not followed federal or state law, or any established local complaint policy or procedure for the appropriate and lawful resolution of this matter.
