    + HISTORY
    The earliest form of Kebaya is originally comes from Javanese Majapahit Kingdom Before 1600, kebaya on Java island were considered as a sacred clothing to be worn only by royal family, aristocrats and minor nobility at the end of the 19th century, after Dutch colonization Kebaya was also popular as fashion Dutch women who need clothes that fit the tropical climate of Indonesia.

    + PHILOSOPHY
    Kebaya on central java is not simply for clothing or fashion.

    Kebaya is a symbol of Javanese women's personality: obedient, gentle, and polite attitude.
    Jarik that wrapped the body functioned to limit body motion, means that the Javanese women is a figure that could keep their dignity. Stagen that use around the waist, help in forming the body means that the Javanese women are a figure that could adapt easily to their environment. It could be best said by Javanese proverb: dowo ususe Which is means patience of Javanese women

    + TYPE
    Kartini's Kebaya This type of kebaya appeared in the era of RA Kartini. Its a long sleeves kebaya.

    Another character is a folded collar that formed a vertical line, thus, it could make the user seem taller and slimmer.

    Encim's Kebaya

    Is combination of Shanghai China clothing style with typical Malay kebaya.


    Usually this encim kebaya made of organdy or cotton, the model V collar with embroidered along the collar to bottom (continously).

    + TYPE
    Javas Kebaya This type of kebaya is a simple shape cut V neck. Its also cover the pelvis/ hip.

    This type of kebaya give a simple impression. its a patterned transparent above the top underwear.

    Bali's Kebaya

    This type of kebaya has special Balinese patterned. The additional obi is wrapped around the waist.
