Traditional Literature Scoring Guide Excellent

The story contains many characterizations of traditional literature and can easily be placed into one or more of the various categories. It has a plot that moves quickly and leads us up from beginning to end to an overall message/theme that the reader can learn from. The characters teach us a lot about different types of feelings and conditions in a believable way. The story contains two or three characterizations seen in traditional literature and the reader is able to place it into a category or subtype. The plot of this story moves in a typical manner and eventually a theme or message is presented or becomes evident. The characters allow us some insight into a feeling or condition. The story contains little to no characterizations seen in traditional literature and the reader is unable to place the story into a category or subtype. The plot moves in a slow drawn-out manner with a theme unable to be found. The characters are not presented in a believable manner and the reader cannot clearly see what the author is trying to get across.
