    AS INTRODUCED An Act relating to garnishment; authorizing withdrawal of certain funds; providing for codification; and providing an effective date.

    BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified

    in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1172.3 of Title 12, unless there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: Up to Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00) of statutorily exempt funds deposited into an account of a judgment debtor in the thirty (30) days preceding the date of execution or demand for payment by a judgment creditor shall be available for withdrawal by the judgment debtor. SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2011.
