Software Engineer
Grey Orange Robotics is a game-changing, robotics and automation system start-up located in Gurgaon (Delhi-NCR). The GOR Mobile Butler System enlists fleets of mobile robots to automate distribution centres cum warehouses, dramatically increasing productivity, flexibility, and throughput by enabling organizations to optimize their operations. You will be part of a highly talented team building the central engine (aka, The Brains of the system) and planning our next generation software architecture. He/she must have good communication skills and enjoy problem solving both independently and in team settings. Further, this candidate should be familiar with fast growing companies and the associated deadlines and high-energy culture that go along with launching new products. You will be challenged intellectually and have a good time while you are doing it! The technical environment includes Computer Networks, Database Management, Linux environment, multi-threading, soft real-time development, and algorithm development.

The Software Engineers will be responsible for: Algorithm development, implementation and optimisation for backend software Coding, designing, implementation and testing of software modules

The Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications: B-Tech or M-Tech in Computer Science 3+ years of coding experience (if Erlang, a huge plus point) Outstanding demonstrated problem solving skills (Having participated in competitions like CodeChef, ICPC, GSoC etc would be a plus) Experience implementing state machines and algorithms Strong personality but even-keeled. Ability to work on challenging assignments with aggressive schedules. Excellent written and oral communication skills Desire and energy to work in a fast-paced environment
