and use a pull scale to measure the force necessary to move friction shoes away from cam. Tension can be modified by relocating spring end in sliding pulley half or by changing torque wrap of cam. Normal torque wrap of most cams is Vs-turn. Increasing torque load will slow upshift time and increase sensitivity to downshift under varying load. The nylon ramp shoes can be pulled from drillings in cam, or cut off and the stud punched or drilled out. Renew all ramp shoes if one must be renewed.
