    Engineering Department: Nepal Television is using Thai Com at 78.5 E for its broadcasting through satellite. Nepal Television is using own Earth Station placed on roof top of Metro Building for up linking its signal. Optical fiber is used to link broadcasting studio (master control room) with the earth station. Transmission over the country is satellite based terrestrial broadcasting. NTV is broadcasting free to air signal to most of the parts of the country and has planned to extend its coverage through out the country. Currently it has 19 transmission stations on different parts of the country. Some of the local Transmitting stations are under construction phase.
