1. How will you introduce yourself to the customer??

Hello I am Vikash Ranjan, currently final year student at Galgotias University. I am from Bihar. In my family I am the youngest and therefore I have learnt to be disciplined and adhere to the guidelines given by my seniors. I have done my graduation in BCA from LNMCBM under Bihar University, where I have learnt the fundamentals of computer. During my college days I have participated in many extracurricular activities like management fest, sports meet, college annual day function etc. where I have learnt the importance of being a team player, importance of accepting opinions of others, organizing skills and making network. In my summer internship during MBA program I have worked with an IT company. Where I was working as a BDM and I have learnt the selling concept as well as lots of skills required in sales. I have also done my research there and on the basis of my research I have suggested a new model of accounting software to the organization. Currently marketing as my major in MBA program has given me a lot of idea about marketing domain. I would like to get an opportunity to work with your organization and learn the practical implication of marketing which we might have missed in our class room. 2. What are the important traits a candidate needs to have to be successful in a sales job? To be a successful sales person, we are required:a. Communication b. Knowledge c. Personality d. Amiable e. Team player f. Knowledge of company g. Knowledge of product h. Competitor i. Industry 3. It is said that smile and patience are the vital aspects of the sales job. What is your opinion on this? Yes, the genuine smile of a sales person can create trust in the mind of the customer and by being patient he can ultimately convince the client to close the deal. 4. Why did you opt sales as a career? Sales as a career helps me to present my abilities like performing in a team, negotiating, networking, and working with new task and people every day. Sales as a career gives me a plate form to understand the industry, the customers and the competitors better which actually helps any sales person to grow in his career.
