KULACHI HANSRAJ MODEL SCHOOL

ASHOK VIHAR, PH.-III

DELHI-110052
DEAR PARENTS-

SUMMER HOLIDAYS OUR ALWAYS WELCOMED BY YOUNG STUDENTS. THE SCHOOL CLOSES FOR SUMMER VACATION
TH ST
ON THE 6 MAY, 09 AND SHALL REOPEN ON 1 JULY 2009. CHILDREN NEED THERE HOLIDAYS TO RELAX. TAKE A
BREAK FROM CONTINUOUS STUDIES. THERE HOLIDAYS HELP THEM TO RECHARGE THEIR BATTERIES. MAY I REQUEST
YOU TO HELP YOUR CHILD TO ADOPT SOME PLANNED & SYSTEMATIC APPROACH TOWARDS CREATING THE HEALTHIER
WAY OF SPENDING SUMMER HOLIDAYS. BESIDES COMPLETING THE HOME-WORK GIVEN TO THEM, STUDENTS SHOULD
BE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE IN SOME ORGANIZED SPORTS, SUMMER CAMPS & ATTEND SUMMER SCHOOLS TO
UPDATE THEIR CREATIVITY & SKILLS. BEST WAY TO SPEND HOLIDAYS IS TO COMPLETE HOLIDAY HOMEWORK AS WELL
AS JOIN CREATIVE ACTIVITIES.

Encourage them to get up early in the morning, get ready & do some Puja/prayer.
Children should be encouraged to discover the joy of reading and should master the
important vocabulary.
While it is useful to surf the net & discover new sites with information relevant to
curriculum topics, but kindly see that children don’t limit themselves to the internet.
Apparently the T.V. has drastically changed our way of living & has become a main factor
responsible for passive life style of young children. Parents, kindly see that I hour of
watching T.V. is completely enough of especially for the young ones.
Parents should take time off work to plan a family vacation during summer holiday.
