I could not transfer contacts from my Samsung to Windows phone, Nokia Lumia 510.

Same problem was faced by my sister while migrating from Nokia Asha model to Lumia 610. Finally used the following methods and transferred the contacts from old phone to new windows phone in 2 minutes!! Method: 1. Copy the contacts to sim from the old phone. 2. Place sim in Huwai 3g GSM dongle(or any dongle which uses mobile partner or similar software to connect to internet) Connect dongle to PC. 3. Open Mobile partner > click on contacts> right click on any one of the contacts> select the option Export all contacts> Give a name and save as .csv file in your pc. 4. Open your Google or Windows Live inbox(Easiest is google) 5. On left top corner you can see Gmail Click on the down arrow next to it, and click on contacts

6. Click on More and import contacts from the .csv file, from the location you have saved in step3. 7. Now put the SIM back in your windows phone and you can see all contacts in your phone.
