    The City of Iqaluit offices and Public Works will close at noon on Friday, July 5th for their annual staff barbeque.     City of Iqaluit offices and Public Works closed at 12:00 noon Friday, July 5, 2013 for our Annual Staff Barbeque June 26, 2013 (Iqaluit, Nunavut) The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents that their offices will be closed at 12:00 noon on Friday, July 5, 2013 for their Annual staff barbeque. Public Works water or sewer truck services will resume early that day starting at 6:00 a.m. to allow enough time for the routes to be completed before they go off the road. Please conserve water. You can conserve water by doing less or no laundry. Do not use dishwashers unless absolutely necessary. You can also conserve water by taking a quick shower, rather than taking a bath. Call out for water truck services will be available for a fee of $250.00; call outs can be made by contacting the non-emergency dispatch number at 9795650. Fire and ambulance services will not be affected. Regular office hours and trucked services will resume on Saturday, July 6, 2013.
