Lenin,

My heartiest congratulations on your organsing a National Consultation on, ““Testimony

to improve psychosocial wellbeing and promote advocacy for survivor of torture and
organized violence.”

It is a pity that even after several decades of the establishment of the United Nations and
Universal Declaration of Human Rights and several international treaties and
conventions, torture and other abominable in human practices continue in many parts of
the world.

Any attempt to prevent such gross violations of Human Rights and to promote and
improve psychosocial wellbeing and promote advocacy for survivor of torture and
organized violence, is a great service to humanity.

I wish the National Consultation on such a vital subject, all success.

Unfortunately on 16th April I will be away in Mumbai. Hence I regret my inability to be

with you at inaugural function on 16th morning.
